Winged sallet


Sallet originally was appeared in Italy, about the end of the XIV century. 

A bit later the helmet has gained widespread popularity in the German. It was worn by all social strata, and ordinary soldiers and members of the upper class. In the first variant, the helmet being forged unibody. In more expensive version, the front end with a slit for eyes brings to the visor. Most often sallet combined with additional protection the neck – buviger. Feature salade was also prolonged back part.

When ordering this model, you can choose from what will be given a helmet and options for decor.  As a material, you can choose an ordinary steel, stainless steel, hardened steel. The choice of the customer, a variety of options for decorating the helmet.

Base price includes helmet made of cold-rolled steel 1.5 mm, with satin finish treatment, steel rivets and sewn liner.

Buying Sallet, it is advisable to think about the protection of the remaining parts of the body. Salad has to complete the Gothic armour.  If you need a stylization of the ordinary soldier medieval army can stop on selection of cuirasses and spaulders.
