Phrygian helm with bar grid and full neck protection

"Phrygian cap" helmet, popular in the 12th - early 13th centuries.

It has a special leant forward dome. This is a slang name which originates from name of Phrygian headpiece which was popular in 5th-2th centuries BC.

This specific model of the Phrygian medieval helmet has an additional bar grid which corresponds to the SCA safety standards.

The model is perfect for training, SCA activities and LARP fencing.

The helm is made of hot rolled 2 mm (14 ga) steel,  the visor is made of 1,5mm (16 ga) steel.  The surfaces are satin polished outside and painted inside. Steel rivets and buckles.
