Japanese kabuto with bar grill

Japanese helmet kabuto was appearing approximately III-V centuries а.c.

It was a very important element in the armor of medieval Japan, both the military and with the symbolic point of view (helmet was a definition of the status of its owner). Basically it was made of six or eight metal plates. But sometimes it was the skin that was reinforced iron plates. Surface of plate was coated with lacquer. Originally Kabuto never had the full protection of face, even if was covered by a mask. The proposed model has no historical grid but very practical. This innovation is likely to appeal to those for whom safety in battles (in the role-playing games) is more important than historical reliability.

This model has variable options. As a material, you can choose an ordinary steel, stainless steel, hardened steel. For an additional payment, you can choose kind of polishing (basic configuration is satin) and different variations of the helmet decoration.

Base price includes helmet made of cold-rolled steel 1.5 mm, with satin finish treatment, steel rivets and sewn liner.

To recreate the historical image of the Japanese warrior III-V centuries a.c. you should look to padded liner.
