German Morion 1580


It is believed that Morion was appearing in Spain at the beginning of XVI century.

This helmet is is characterized a semicircular shape with a high crest of variable height. Helmet’s fields are raised front and back, and strongly curved sides. Morion had been mostly Marines - arquebusiers and lance-knight - in combination with some of the armor (cuirass with spaulders). But sometimes Morion put on riders also. Later helmet became part of formal attire of some guards units. Usually Morion forged from a single piece of iron.

This model can be changed according to your wishes. To change the available options are: material, color, size and the presence of additional decorations. The basic package not included two additional removable visor, but can be order additional.

Base price includes helmet made of cold-rolled steel 1.5 mm, with satin finish treatment, steel rivets and sewn liner.
