English Full Plate armour Based on the patterns from the funeral armour on English knight Ralph Fitzherbert (d.1483)
The harness is comfortably wearable and like a museum piece. It is fully handcraft, brand new, never worn or scratched.This armour represents the pinnacle of the armourers' art, and is typical of the late English Gothic style with its fluted surfaces and graceful lines.
Standard options:
- All steel 16 ga. everywhere, except 14 ga.- helmet - blued steel - painted inside - high-polish finish -cast brass sets for fastening, consist of buckles, tails and the plates for attaching to the armour- brass rivets - red leather straps - features historically fluted lines, pointy elbows, multi-part breastplate and backplate, tassets, finely articulated joints- historically accurate gauntlets
The harness includes:
- the cuirass with tassets. The upper part of cuirass and tassets are attached with the leather straps and buckles, so they are detachable.
- the spaulders
- the arms consisting of 3 separate parts- upper arm, elbow and forearm;
- the scale gauntlets
- the legs
