This model of gauntlets is made after certain historical replicas (you can see them among pictures displayed) - effigies dated as secondpart of the 14 century. It is so-called two-part gauntlets which consist of the articulations for the fingers, and a broad prolonged plate which covered the back of the hand and the wrist, also referred as cuff in hourglass here-part model of gauntlets. Spikes on knuckles imitated with rivets, the same decoration laces the edge of the cuff.
As well, there are punctured leather straps on the tips to fasten your gloves worn under gauntlets.
