Infantryman of the XII-XIII centuries


This costume is typical for infantryman of the XII-XIII centuries and includes the following elements:






Classic medieval padded chausses can be used almost with any type of armour. They provides with perfect additional protection of legs, amortize strikes will and do not limit mobility. Leather sole makes chausses very comfortable. Chausses are being fastened with leather string to the wide fabric belt.

Cotta with sleeves 3/4 and wide V-type neckline is decorated with fabris straps.

Gambeson with festoons on the sleeves and bottom hem can be found in the manuscripts of the XII-XIII centuries. It can be worn over or under the chainmail.

Shield buckler will be a perfect addition to the costume of infantryman.

Base material is 100% natural cotton, For padding we use sheet-wadding (50% wool, 50% cotton).
